OUR TEAM
Dave has been involved in the forestry industry for over 35 years and has gained vast knowledge and experience within the tree environment. Having managed all aspects of plantation establishment and maintenance, while leading large crews in achieving successful operations, ensures that David is ready for any challenge. 
 
During the past 20 years, David has also established and provided numerous Training Programs for T.E.C NZ.  He holds qualified, registered Trainer Assessor status with NZQA National Certificates in Horticulture, Occupational Health & Safety and Forestry related unit standards
 

Cathy has supported Dave in his business interests since 1992.

​

Understanding, knowledge and experienced gained from working in an administration role for the past 25 years ensures a well-organized and efficient practice is maintained.

Cathy works diligently toward excellence in work quality and with an artistic ability, is also responsible for designing and creating all Tremachine Services promotional material

​

In her spare time, Cathy enjoys a quiet lifestyle with family and when time allows, loves to paint.

Gonzo is a native of Spain and has worked in New Zealand for the past 5 years in the horticulture and plants industry.  He holds a Bachelor in Science (level 7) and also has certificates in grow safe, aerial rescue, site traffic controller & first aid.

Gonzo has a very pleasant demeanor and maintains a positive can-do attitude while taking excellent care of all site operations to ensure that work is completed to customer satisfaction.

​

Gonzo, with his wife, leads a very healthy lifestyle where fitness is a priority. They enjoy numerous outdoor activities, recently participating in marathon bike riding.

 

Marty arrived in New Zealand from England 2 days prior to joining our team in November 2018.

 

He comes very well equipped with 7 years’ experience in all aspects of tree work, including tree surgery, climbing and forestry. Marty holds a diploma in Forestry & Arboriculture, qualifications include; using a chainsaw from a rope & harness, pruning, felling, dismantling, aerial tree rigging and tree species recognition.

​

Marty has a very friendly personality and loves a good conversation. In his spare time he enjoys an active lifestyle, especially surfing at our NZ beaches and meeting people

OPERATIONS CREW
Each with unique skills, experience and qualifications, our operations crew undertake all types of ground and tree work. A core crew of four men and several part time workers ensure that work is completed to specifications and quality standards. With a warm and friendly approach and positive attitude, they are often known to go beyond expectation

Groundsman / Chainsaw Operators

All Tree Machine crew personnel are trained and qualified to operate machinery required to complete work.
